Training with Michael Klimke

klimkeHassler Dressage invites you to join us in March for our two day clinic with Michael Klimke. This is a great opportunity to get inspired by one of the best trainers and educators of the Classical way of riding. Michael has a passionate way of combining his love of correct training with a klimkegreat sense of humor, insight, and integrity. If you haven’t seen or audited a clinic with Michael Klimke, don’t let this occasion pass you by. This is your chance to access the knowledge and tradition of one of Germany's top trainers

Michael Klimke is one of three children of the late Dr. Reiner Klimke, the most successful dressage artist of our time and Ruth Klimke. Michael trained with his father and Herbert Kuckluck and is currently training with Major Albert Stecken. He resides in Muenster, Westphalia. Germany with his wife Manuelle and their son Maximillian (Max).

klimkeMichael is a true horseman dedicated to the classical principles of dressage as he was taught by his father. He can claim numerous Championships in Germany and abroad. He won his first klimkeGrand Prix at age 19 and has brought a variety of horses to the ultimate success from the Young Horse levels on up to the International Grand Prix classes. Michael rode the gelding Entertainer at the 1996 World Cup, was reserve rider at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney with White Foot and the pair were German National Champions in 2000. Michael’s current FEI competitors are Harmony’s Callinus and Flashman.

We'll be gathering 5-7 pm at the Hassler's Riveredge home for hors d'eouvres, beverages (wine, beer, sodas, etc), and comraderie. Come meet and greet Michael—and one another—amidst a warm and welcoming atmosphere (a nice wood fire will be set in the fireplace). Cost: Both days: $90 at door.

            Single day: $55 at door.
Notes: No videotaping allowed during the event, thank you.
