A fundraiser to support 2008 Olympic rider Courtney King Dye
All of us at Hassler Dressage were thrilled with the outpouring of support for the fundraiser we held to benefit Courtney King-Dye over the weekend of our clinic with her Olympic teammate Steffen Peters. Courtney's medical insurance is no longer providing full benefits; we're hopeful this effort will help fuel her further recovery! Generous donations came pouring in before the event and we sold most during the fundraiser reception on Saturday evening.
Steffen Peters graciously donated an autographed cap bearing "Ravel" "WEG Champion," which will now be a lifelong treasure of Jaralyn Finn's student Claire.
Steffen even more generously offered up his personal memory book of his Bronze Medal experience in Lexington with Ravel. He titled his book "Kentucky 2010, Thank You Ravel." This donation also brought a very handsome price and is now in the precious possession of Mary Lou Sullivan.
A very special THANK YOU to ALL the donors of items sold in this fundraising event! Together we have raised nearly $11,000 to help fuel Courtney's continued recovery!
