Harmony's Weissmueller's Heritage
Weissmueller is a champion by pedigree as well as show record. His sire Weltmeyer was Champion of his 1986 Hanoverian stallion licensing and won the Bundeschampionat title with scores of 10 for his trot, 9.5 for his canter, and 8 for his walk. Weissmueller’s dam, States Premium mare Bullerbue, was a several time mare show champion and half sister to Diskret by Dirk. Diskret was the top stallion at his licensing in 1982 before coming to the U.S. and dominating at the junior and young rider Prix St. Georges in the early 90’s under Regina Galoppi-Benfante. The pair were part of the 1993 North American Young Riders Championship Bronze medal winning team and winners of the USET Festival of Champions Young Rider Team Test. Diskret and Weissmueller’s dam, Bullerbue, were both out of the States Premium Mare Domaenenfest by Domaenenrat. Harmony’s Weissmueller is full brother to two other approved Hanoverian (VhW) stallions, Wedgwood and Weizenjunge. Wedgwood, born in 1992, was one of 10 premium stallions at the 1994 Verden Stallion Licensing and went on to place well at the St. Georges Level. Wagemut another full brother, was the most expensive non-licensed stallion at the 1992 Verden Stallion Licensing. Weissmueller’s full sister Wedgewood Lady, a 1989 Hanoverian mare, has shown her exceptional quality as a broodmare in Germany. A prolific producer, Wedgewood Lady’s offspring are ridden by successful German riders Christoph von Daehne and Louisa Lüttgen. Her daughters have garnered States Premium Hanoverian and Verband Premium Oldenburg awards.
