2007 Foals Congratulations to David Wightman of Murrieta, CA on his new Rousseau filly produced via embryo transfer out of the Hanoverian mare, Breanna (Brentano IIWeltmeyer). Last year, under David's wife, Kathleen Raine, Breanne was one of the country's top contenders in the FEI Six Year Old classes. Breanna and Kathleen earned an overall 8.5 at Flintridge with a highlight score of 9 on the walk. We're excited about the bright future of this chestnut filly, the grandeur of her promising pedigree, and hope to share photos soon!

nirvana-foalKathy Childs of Crooked Post Farm in Topeka, KS proudly announces the arrival of a Rousseau colt out of her First Premium Ster Dutch mare Nirvana. Nirvana was in the KWPN Top Ten as a two year old and is by the KWPN stallion Fleming, who has successfully shown Grand Prix here in the United States. Kathy was surprised to see this strong, personable youngster arrive as a chestnut! This is her mare's eighth foal and the first chestnut she has thrown. Mother Nature loves to keep us guessing!

Hassler Dressage and breeder Missi Cool of Hampshire, TN welcome this lovely filly Rayn rayby Rousseau, born May 4, 2007! Her dam, the Oldenburg mare Cameo is by Cor Noir daughter out of the World Champion Silver Medalist mare Danish Warmblood mare Suna, ridden by Gary Rockwell in the early 90’s. Suna produced three foals via ET in her later years and Cameo is now continuing her legacy as a mom! The world championship winning pedigree behind this filly is really very special…hopefully a predicate to her own journey as a future FEI prospect for her proud breeder, who sends this update: "Rayn is just an awesome baby, big and super correct with beautuful expressive eyes and lots of spring in her step. She has been incredibly intelligent and easy to work with, and very active but instead of running like a fool she canters circles and figure eights!
