Louisville's Heritage
Hexagon's Louisville comes from a long line of influential sires. His sire Burggraaf is widely known as one of the greatest showjumping sires of modern times, producing two international level showjumpers in his first season of breeding just a limited book of mares. At his 100 Day Test, Burggraaf earned a 9 for his character and 8.5 for jumping. Dennis Callin and Leslie Morse's Kingston, a Voltaire x Burggraaf. On the 2005 FEI WBFSH Horses World Ranking List, Kingston ranked 8th overall.Burggraaf's sire was the "sire of the century," Landgraf I (1966 – 1996). Landgraf's list of showjumping progeny is endless, producing names like Freestyle (aka Lalique): winner of the Grand Prix at Aachen; Libero: the five time Dutch National Champion and '94 World Cup winner; Linaro: 1991 Champion Holsteiner Stallion; and Landadel: 1985 100 Day Test Champion at Medingen and a sire in his own right of top dressage and jumping offspring. Landgraf offers his impressive neck carriage, long sloping shoulder, beautiful face, strong bone and exceptional character to his grandson, Hexagon's Louisville.
On his damside, Louisville's depth of pedigree continues. Louisville's dam, Wenda, a Keur mare herself, produced several other notable offspring including Keur mare Kitty W (by Forum) who had IBOP scores of 9 for walk and 8.5 for trot,Keur mare Maddy W (by Epilot), and the approved AES stallion
