A Gallery of Davidoff Hit Foals While these are very early impressions of our breeders’ 2008 arrivals, we post them with pride and look forward to updates as the foals develop and continue to mature! June 16th – Joyce Moxley of Union Bridge, MD announces the arrival of a chestnut colt out of her Hanoverian mare, Margot (Manitu – Marsala). The colt is all legs with "tons of attitude." May 19 - Welcome to the world Dolce Amore MVF! This tall and leggy filly was born on May 19 at 6:04 in the morning. Breeder Sharon Heaps of Mountain View Farm in Schuylkill Haven, PA was shocked and thrilled when she saw she was chestnut, but her veterinarian was most surprised at the size of this filly and said it was the biggest foal she has ever seen! Her dam Deseree a Westphalian mare (Dinard L x Landino x Pilot) has had four foals prior to Dolce, and all being bay so this was a welcomed surprise! May 3rd - Drambuie has arrived! Cindy Fletcher of Lee's Summit, MO welcomes this beautiful black colt bred by Beth Springer out of the Oldenburg mare, Kilian (Rubinstein - Akzentus). "Boo" has been stamped with Davidoff Hit's incredible disposition. Cindy notes that Davi has "shortened Boo's back, his croup is super, and he has an uphill build. His legs are straight and elegant." Cindy also says "he comes right up to me in the pasture or stall, follows me like a puppy dog, loves his grooming, allows me to pick up all four feet, and is learning halter and lead etiquette... all at the tender age of three weeks. I love this little guy - he is so loving and kind, and just refinement personified." March 22nd - Dahli was born to the Oldenburg mare Ginger Ale (Donnerhall - Genever) the day before Easter. As she first nursed on her dam, Bobby Darin's Hello Dolly was playing on the radio. Breeder Rebecca Cohen of Sunny Brook Farm in Lexington, VA is grateful for her new arrival. Dahli is just a day old in the first photo. March 9th - The first Davidoff Hit foal of the year, a colt with the barn name of Storm, was born to Oldenburg mare Casa Blanca (Cabaret - Caribo) during the worse storm of the winter in Beach City, OH. Breeders Don and Dee Kapper of Outer Banks Farm note that Storm is extremely attractive and quite refined, shown here at 7 days old. 2007 Foals
Davidaire is currently offered for sale. Diamond Diva has arrived! Harmony Sporthorses, owner of Diamond Diva's sire, Davidoff Hit, welcomes this "confident, strong, spunky" filly in their fold. Kerry Barnes, barn manager, notes that Diva has "great conformation, very good bone, and a feminine head. She’s been very easy from the moment she hit the ground" and she's quite independent. Diamond Diva's dam is the 1997 Holsteiner mare, St. Pr. Maryanne (Contender – Landgraf I). Diamond Diva was the Reserve Champion Filly of her Oldenburg Inspection with an overall 8.1! The inspection was held in Colorado at Caduceus Farm on July 21st. Double-Oh-Seven: Davidoff Hit's second foal has hit the ground… and "It’s a Boy!" A long legged, black colt with three socks, a star, and a snip was born out of Hilltop Farm's "Florette"(Festrausch – Continue – Matcho) on April 2nd. An impressive mare, Florette was the Champion of her age division at Dressage at Devon three times in a row. In 2002,
