Dressage At Devon 2007: Success for Hassler Dressage students and more!

     Emily Covington (yep, our Hassler Dressage team mate!) enjoyed watching her two-year old filly Ravi Sutra by Rousseau place 6th in her Two Year Old Fillies class and 4th in her ISR/OldNA class for horses Two Years and Under. Emily also rode to her first Devon "blue" aboard her very own Hanoverian gelding Doha (Del Piero) in the 4-year old Stallion and Gelding Materiale Class.

     Outerbanks Farm (Don and Dee Kapper) made their Devon debut with their weanling filly by Davidoff Hit, Davi's Forelle, who placed 10th in her Fillies of 2006 class. Their two-year old filly Royal Princess (Royal Prince-Banter) placed 6th in her class as well.

     Karen Day's three Hosteiner offspring Rivoli I, Understated, and Rivoli II, all by Riverman out of Karen's States Premium mare Impressario (Carthago), won Breeders Group for Karen and placed 6th, 2nd, and 3rd in their classes respectively. The three-year old filly Understated also placed 4th in her Materiale class, ridden by Hans Engberg.

     Cory Gregory's sportpony mare Winsome Courtjester won her IBO class!

     Dream Street Stallions (Rick Silvia) enjoyed success with his stallion Starlight and Lullaby in the Four Years and Older Stallions In-Hand class.

     Highlife Farm's stallion Pilox placed 5th in his Stallions In-Hand class.

     Sophie Ghedin won the Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse (4 Year Old) and was the 2nd Materiale class for 5 year old stallions and geldings.

     Jessica Jo Tate aboard her new mount Rosall won the 4-Year old Stallion Materiale Class, was Reserve Champion aboard her 6-year old Donnermuth in the FEI Young Horse Classes, and placed 3rd in the NABF on Davy Crockett in the 4-year-old.

     Teresa Butta placed 3rd in the FEI Young Horse finals, Born in the USA, aboard Frohlich (Festrausch-Landadel).

     Rebecca Knowlman of Ohio, a professional who trained with Scott at Riveredge West for the week between the Nationals and Devon, had success on her fancy Sandro Hit daughter Solaris Hit, placing 6th in the 5-year-old division.

     Elisabeth Poulin and Donatus, representing Canaan Ranch of Fulsher, Texas, also enjoyed the week between the Young Horse Nationals and Devon training at Riveredge West under Scott with a whole group of horses. Elisabeth enjoyed her first Devon experience and earned 6th place on Donatus in the 6-year-old division.

     Eiren Crawford of Oxford, PA and Fuerstin earned 4th place in the 4-year-old test.

     Susanna Hamilton of Montville, Maine and her stallion Donauwalzer CSF took 5th in the 5-year-old.
